Position Summary:
WS Management is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-driven Restaurant Server & Banquet Support team member to help deliver exceptional guest experiences in our hotel restaurant and event spaces. This role supports both à la carte dining and banquet/event operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality service with a positive and welcoming attitude.The ideal canidate provides outstanding food and beverage service, supports daily restaurant operations, and assists with banquet/event setup and execution. This position plays a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through excellent service, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional guest service with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude
Accurately take food and beverage orders and use proper serving techniques
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per state/local regulations
Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
Follow all cash-handling and POS procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, server stations, and banquet areas
Support event setup including table linens, place settings, service stations, and equipment
Clear tables, replenish supplies, and ensure all food & beverage areas remain stocked
Assist guests with menu questions, dietary needs, and recommendations
Process payments and issue receipts accurately
Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations
Collaborate with team members and support a culture of cooperation and professionalism
Perform side work and additional duties as assigned, including cross-training
Qualifications:
1+ year of restaurant serving or food & beverage experience preferred
2–4 years of hospitality experience highly preferred
Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry items (up to 30 lbs.) throughout the shift
Strong communication skills and a guest-first mentality
Ability to handle fast-paced service environments with professionalism
Ability to follow processes, take direction, and work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must meet legal requirements for serving alcohol
Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer applications
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and event days
