About the Role:

As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our busy airport property to success. You'll oversee all aspects of hotel operations, from guest satisfaction to financial performance, and lead our team to deliver exceptional experiences every day. Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day hotel operations to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies.

Oversee housekeeping, front office, and food and beverage departments.

Manage purchasing, payroll, and budgeting for the property.

Represent the hotel professionally in all interactions with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Develop and execute operating plans to meet performance goals.

Maximize guest satisfaction through exceptional service and quality assurance.

Establish a presence in the community through local events and initiatives.

Drive revenue through sales efforts and collaboration with the sales team.

Recruit, train, and motivate staff to ensure a positive work environment.

Implement and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.


Skills and Qualifications:

Strong analytical thinker.

Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and training communication skills.

Excellent guest relations skills, including creating "special touches" and resolving guest concerns.

Strong analytical skills, including trend analysis and developing new tactics to resolve problems.

Proficient in word processing, hotel operating systems, and spreadsheet creation.

Excellent time management skills.

Must be a working leader willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.

Knowledge of emergency procedures, safety precautions, and safest work habits.

Ability to work a varied schedule, including holidays, weekends, and nights.

Ability to clearly communicate with employees, guests, vendors, and corporate executives.

Effective in handling workplace problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.

Ability to work with and understand financial information and data, including P&L statements.

Proven success in driving results in Revenue, Profitability, Guest Satisfaction and Employee Satisfaction.

Proven leadership qualities and ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Full Restraunt F&B Experience preferred, but not required.
